Time to start the conversion

Well I am starting the R6 tail conversion this weekend on my 96 yzf. Got all the parts in and I can't wait to rip into it. I've been reading up on welding Aluminum and got some good pointers over on the YZF forums.

Here is what I have to do to the R6 subframe to bolt it up to my bike

Ive got everything striped But I'm still not sure if I am going to modify the R6 subframe like I posted above or if I'm going to modify the yzf frame to accept the entire R6 subframe. I have plenty of time now that riding up north here sucks so I will keep you all updated and I will post pics when I have a little more progress to show.
